[Resolved] Considerations about moving to Nouveau

    Hi there, I’m considering moving to Nouveau from Legacy, at least just to be prepared, if Legacy in near future are not supported anymore.

    But switching template reveals css changes and a lot of time editing the CSS sheet.

    I wonder why this is happening, are the css selectors not the same?

    Any suggestions how to make this transition as smooth and less time consuming as possible?

    Hi Carsten,
    Thank you for the question.

    There is no simple answer if you have already done too many customizations in Legacy.

    The legacy and Nouveau are very different and have different selectors(most of the place). Yes, you will need to redo the css/js but it is a worthy upgrade.
    Even we are planning to go with Nouveau in all our future themes.
