    Hi,

I have tested if the BP Deactivate Account redirects the user to the url that was set and saved in Dashboard plugin settings but in fact the plugin does not redirect the user to the custom page. The user only gets logged off and redirected to the landing page.

    Thanks for your assistance.

    Regards
    Daniel

    Hello Daniel,

Sorry for the inconvenience. Custom redirect works only if “Logout user on deactivation” setting enabled. Please give it a shot with this setting enabled and let me know if it works or not.

    Regards
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,

I have checked this also. It is not working. The user only gets redirected to the landing page and not to the custom url.

    Thanks for your time.

    Regards
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
Do you have any of the following active

    1. Plugin or code that redirects after logout?
    2. Plugin or code that restricts site access after logout?

Please let us know and we will assist you.

    Regards
    Brajesh

It seems there is some other redirect on your site causing it.

    here is my settings

    and it is working correctly.

I will suggest investigating your bp-cusotm.php, theme’s functions.php and the plugins.

    Hi Brajesh,

I don’t understand why the plugin doesn’t take the url I have entered. My url to redirect I entered is:

    https:/mywebsite.com/account-deactivation

There is no other plugin that I use to redirect.

I guess I will just leave it as it is then.

    Thanks.

    Regards
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
    May I check the site.

An admin account for testing setting and a guest account for testing deactivation will help.
