Disable Buddypress Shortcode Activities displays messages between users

    Hello,

    Buddypress Shortcode Activities displays messages (communication) between users (public message). Is there any way to make these messages not show up on Buddypress Shortcode Activities?

    Thank you for the question.

    I am assuming you are referring to @ mention activities. No, there is no way to hide this. BuddyPress activity shortcode uses inbuilt BuddyPress featires, this ability is not available in BuddyPress.

    Or could the “Public Message” button be removed everywhere?

    That will depend on the template pack you are using.

    A simpler solution is to use css to hide it.
