[Resolved] Duplicate Member Type On EDIT " Creating Member Type Profile Fields"

    Followed the instructions on this link:

    When on profile edit tab it repeats the same membership profile field twice

    There’s a duplicate for this field on Profile edit tab only, when on Profile View tab it shows correctly, but it will be confusing for the user to edit this field since shown twice

    Hi Laz,
    Welcome to BuddyDev forums.

    Thank you for posting about it. Most probably you are using a theme which has not been updated for recent BuddyPress version.

    Can you please tell me which theme are you using? I will be happy to assist you getting it fixed.

    My fault needed to deactivate this plugin:
    https://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-xprofile-member-type-field/
    since it does the same as BuddyPress Member Types Pro

    FYI the link here https://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-xprofile-member-type-field/ to BuddyPress Member Types Pro is broken , hope it helps

    Thank you.

    I am sorry for the confusion. When Member Types Pro was active, It should have added a notice in the admin suggesting to deactivate the xprofile field type plugin.
