Hello,
I have a situation where Groups on the BuddyPress profile menu doesn’t work for me the way I want it to. The theme I’m using offers a widget which works perfectly. What I would like to do is remove Groups from the menu altogether and just keep the widget. I found these instructions (https://codex.buddypress.org/developer/navigation-api/) on editing the BP menu, but they are for different types of edits. I just need to remove an item.
I am a beginner with these types of instructions, so I’m dependent on copying & pasting.

Thank you for the question.If we use Navigation API to remove groups, It will remove the user’s groups list completely. The screen will not be accessible(even directly). is this want you need? If not, you can simply hide the tab using css.

Thank you for the answer, Brajesh! No, that is not what I want. I just want to hide it in the location and my theme developers gave me the CSS – it worked!
