Hi,
I have figured out that when a user has forgotten his password and the user clicks on the forgot password link, the email to reset the password is not sending out to the user’s email address.
Could you might help to fix this problem? (I don’t receive any responses from the Theme support since 3 weeks.)
Thank you for your reply and your assistance.
Regards,
DanielHi Daniel,
My suggestion will be install a mail log plugin and check if mails are being sent. If sent, and still not received by users, you should most probably opt for a smtp plugin to send mail.Regards
BrajeshHi Brajesh,
Thanks for the input, I got it!
Might you have any suggestions of lightweight plugins of this kind?
I had a look at it to use:
for logging:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/
for smtp:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/
Thanks & regards,
DanielHi Daniel,
For smtp I personally prefer
https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/as it seems to have a simple interface.
For mail logging, you can use any option ans it will be only a temporary thing and you will be disabling after the email testing.

BrajeshHi Brajesh,
I had a look today on reviews of SMPTP Plugins and postman has the best reviews
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/post-smtp/reviews/?filter=5
What do you think? 🙂

DanielHi Daniel,
Sure, you can use it.I personally prefer simple, lightweight interfaces and that’s why I had a different suggestions. They all work properly no matter which one you select. So, go with the one you feel comfortable.
Best Regards
BrajeshHi Brajesh,
Okay thanks, but Postman plugin is apparently also lightweight and it has the email logging implemented which is practical.
My other problem I have explained above still exists that the BP Ajax Register form is not loading properly when clicking from the Forgott Password page. Might you know the reason why the system does show the form differently as on the Homepage?
Thank you for your ideas.
Regards,
Daniel
