[Resolved] Get notified by email for new BP activity posts in Groups and between Users

    Hi,

    I try to increase user engagement within BP groups and I wanted to ask if there is a way that all the members of a group could receive an email with the link of the activity when somebody posts something new on the group’s activity wall.

    I beleive this could increase traffic in terms of interacting in groups significantly.

    Also the mentioned feature could be interesting between a user that follows or being friend of another user to get notified by email when the user activity is updated with new posts.

    What do you guys think?

    Thank you for the question.

    It’s a good idea but I do not see a solution that exists. reason, any such solution will need to be able to send a lot of emails which might not be feasible on shared servers and limited mail queues by some of the hosting.

    Currently, there does exist a solution for sending daily group activity digest via email

    You might be already using it, if not, please give it a try.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    It looks like the plugin that I was looking for. Although, after opening the ZIP file it seems to be a very big plugin with a lot of functionalities, I hope it will not mess up with other plugins. I will give it a try.

    Hi Brajesh,

    I have tested the plugin and it works really well. It adds some cool features to the Groups and the emails go out to the the users of the BP Group without any issues.
