Group Tabs creator pro – how to change default home tab

    I would like to change the default home tab of a specific group to another tab “Course”, so when a user enters the group he immediately lands on the course page. How can I do that?

    Also, I would like to change the label of the “About” tab and move it to the last menu position. Can I do this with this plugin?

    Hi Hugo,
    Thank you for asking.

    At the moment, we can create one entry(configuration) per unique slug(tab). So, yes, It is doable if you Modify courses for only group and do not plan to modify it for others.

    Since we have implemented individual targeting for group tabs, in future, we will be allowing creating multiple entry per tab to customize it for different settings.

    This will come in future(May be by the end of year or earlier as we don’t have any plan for this yet).

    I hope that you are only planing to apply one configuration to the tab for now.

    Is it the About page added by Community Builder theme?

    To me, the settings seem correct.

    Hi Brajeesh, It is the About page from the theme indeed.
    Modifying blog tab and other tabs is no problem.

    Hi Hugo,
    The plugin had issues with tabs added using BuddyPress Group Extensions. I found that these tabs were added too late and that’s why Group tabs was unable to find/update it.

    I have updated the group tabs plugin to make it work with the group extensions too.

    One problem still: setting another tab (in my case “Courses”) as default still doesn’t work; I keep getting a not found message.
