hide reply option for a specific group message

    I want to hide the reply option for members for a group, private message.

    I have a group where all site members are joined, named with “support”

    whenever a support group sends a private message, no member should be able to reply on those messages,

    so basically no one can send a message to this group

    Hi Abhishek,
    Thank you for opening the topic related to this.

    You may want to check the function “bp_nouveau_ajax_messages_send_reply” to find a way to stop it.

    BuddyBoss does not provide any useful hook for capability check and you will need to hook to ‘wp_ajax_messages_send_reply’ at higher priority to stop users.

    For better assistance, I will recommend contacting BuddyBoss support.

    Thanks for quick response, Is there any way to send notices to group remembers,

    I think this will work as well.

    Hi Abhishek,

    You are welcome.
    You may use the BuddyBoss’s public message for group option. I don’t see any other option at the moment.
