How do I give all users access to edit only one specific page?

    Hi

I have a problem with giving ALL users the capability to create new events in the Events Manager plugin on a BuddyPress website.

I know how to give access to add media for all users using the “Add media”-button in WordPress (capability “upload_files”), but I have discovered that in order to let the user upload an image the user also has to have the capability “edit_others_pages”. The problem with that is that the user then also can edit ALL other pages on the website eg. the front page!

Does anyone know if/how it’s possible to restrict access to only edit on one specific page for ALL USERS (I know I could give a single user edit rights to a specific page but I don’t know how to do it for multiple users)?

    Best regards
    Torben

    Hi Torben,
    Thank you for the question.

I will suggest contacting Events Manager plugin developers for the same. They are in a better position to assist you with it.

    Regards

    Hi Brajesh

I already did that, but they concluded that it is a WordPress specific issue and that it has nothing to do with their plugin 🙁
