Tagged: group tabs creator pro
Hello,
I’m using BuddyBoss (I know, boo – hiss), but your plugin, Group Tabs Creator Pro has saved my site in lots of ways. I’ve been able to replace tab text and determine who sees what.
My problem is that now I want to actually HIDE A BuddyBoss tab COMPLETELY from certain groups. For example, not all groups have documents or videos. Some groups only want activity and nothing else.
I’ve tried creating a GROUP TAB that attempts to hide the BuddyBoss tab, but all it does is hide the “New Tab” I’ve created using Group Tabs Creator Pro.
I’ve been using your plugin for almost a year. I don’t seem able to just hide those tabs that BuddyBoss creates.
I saw a post by someone on the internet that said I could hide them by using CSS. BUT, some groups want to see the tabs and others don’t. So, I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.
Thank you in advance, Dianne
Hi Dianne,
Thank you for using the plugin.1. While creating a new tab, Please mark it as existing and make sure to use correct slug(same slug as existing tab).
Once you do that, change it availability/visibility or scope. All of that can be used to limit the tab availability. Please see this post for details.

BrajeshHi Dianne,
Thank you. I am glad that setting as Administrator hides it for others. I do agree that it is irritating to have it visible for admins.
We will add better support for completely disabling by adding a new token(may be No One or a simple flag like hide).
Regards
Brajesh
