Is it possible to share and/or embed a media?

    Hello,
    I have installed mediapress with BuddyPress.
    Is it possible for a member to share a gallery/photo on Facebook for example? Is it possible to embed the media on other websites?

    Hi Bzoum,
    You should be able to share media like any normal link.

    We do have a fork of Simple Social Share plugin that adds the social share buttons(if you need them).

    This is very close to what I’ve been looking for although, I’d love to see it more integrated as a plug-in.

    I did notice on the light box that I can’t close the light box (click on X in upper right) when this is activated.

    Is this plug-in still under development and can this be fixed?

    Welcome to BuddyDev.

    Please re download the plugin. We had the development going on in another branch. @ravisharma has merged it to main and the plugin will work with lightbox.

    On a similar topic, do you have anything that allows sharing of BuddyPress Activity (using MPP) as a Twitter card rather than just a link?

    We are exploring that twitter card. Should be doable.
