[Resolved] Issue with the BP avatar crop tool

    Hi Brajesh, this issue with the crop tool has been described by several in the BP forum, but without a single solution or explanation to why it suddenly appears.

    After upload, the crop tool is only presented by a dot in the corner, and you can’t drag it out.The image is then cropped from the top left corner.

    I have gone through my plugins and deactivated any custom code which could cause the problem, but with no luck. I have experienced the issue before, long time ago, and can’t remember neither what was causing it, and hov I solved it.

    I guess you might have come across this issue before, do you have any suggestions to what I could try to solve it?

    Hi Carsten,
    Is there any chance you have a lazy loading plugin installed for image or javascript? If yes, Please disable it and clear browser cache to test again.

    I have seen this happening with lazy loaded images most of the time. Please let me know if that is not the case?

    Hi Carsten,
    marking it resolved.
    For others looking at it, It was an issue with one of the plugins causing lazy loading of image.
