Manage Visibility by Admin

    Hello,

    I have just installed BuddyPress Profile Visibility Manager and want to manage the Visibility of profiles as administrator but where can I do this? The reason is we have a car community with shop and depending on shop profile type they can make a profil page. So we want to manage wich users gets a buddypress page.

    Hi Dave,
    Welcome to BuddyDev support forums.

    Yes, you can make it admin only. The plugin can make a users profile private but is not able to prevent a user from having profile.

    Once you mark the settings as only admin can modify, you can set the default. Then you can make individual profile as private to take them off the lists.

    Thanks, Yes I understand my qeustions is where I can edit this: “Then you can make individual profile as private to take them off the lists.”

    Hello Dave,

    For taking off Member’s profile from members directory. Just go to member’s settings on the frontend and locate sub-menu named “Profile Privacy” under “Settings” nav and set this setting “List in members directory?” to no.
