I am using media press for a website where I plan on having musicians showcase their work to fans. The problem is that mediapress’s menu item is called “galleries.” Another problem is that everything goes under this tab(audio, photos, videos.)
Is there a way to rename “Audio” to “Music”?
And is there also another way to maybe break the plugin down into 3 different plugins? I just need a way for “Audio, Photos, and Videos” to have their own menu items and not be subnav items under “Galleries”.
I really need “Galleries” to be removed. Is any of this possible?
Hi Michael,
Welcome to BuddyDev forums.1. Changing the label from “Audio” to “Music” can be done easily by translation. All you need to do is translate the included po file and generate mediapress-en_US.mo file with your changes.
This linek may help

Make sure to put the translation in wp-content/languages/plugins directory to avoid it getting overridden in future updates.2. Breaking the plugin into 3 section, that’s interesting. Please give me 12-24 hours and I will have something ready for that too.
Hi Michael,
I have added the filters support. Once you enable the filters, It will list 4 sub tabs(or depending on which types are active) under MediaPress to list “Photos”, “Videos” etc. Please visit your MediaPress settings to enable the type filters.About po/mo file, what is the name you are assigning them?
Hi Michael,
If you have issues translating the file, I will be happy to supply with the same. I am assuming your locale is en_US?Please do give a try to filters.
Thank you. I will be putting the example translation files shortly.
