Hi, I’m using Mediapress, MediaPress Paid Memberships Pro Storage Limit and will be adding in MediaPress Media Moderator as soon as I get this feature fixed. I can create a gallery and upload photo’s to it. But when I go to upload a cover photo for the gallery that photo shows I uploaded it then I click save, but the photo will not save. How do I fix this issue?
Hi Kim,
Thank you for using the plugins.– Is it happening when using in combination with Paid Memberships Pro storage limit plugin?
– Which theme and template pack are you using?
– Is it happening for user/sitewide or groups gallery(which one did you test)Please let me know the details and I will assist.

I’m not using Paid Memberships Pro but I’m using MediaPress Paid Memberships Pro Storage Limit which is set at 100 MB.

BuddyX pro

We only have User Galleries which only friends only viewing. The media type setting is photo. Media size settings are all set on crop. Local storage. Media can only be uploaded to local files.
Thank you
KimAlso I was logged in as a user account when I set up the gallery and not admin. I tested admin and that didn’t work either.
Hi Kim,
Thank you. I am looking into it. Please expect an update by Monday.Regards
BrajeshHi Kim,
Thank you for your patience.I have tested it with BuddyX not BuddyX Pro. The plugin and all features of MediaPress is working if you have BP Classic plugin installed.
I tested cover update from Profile->Your Galleries->Gallery Name-> Edit Details and then clicking on “Upload New Cover”. It is working for me using BuddyX and latest version of MediaPress(1.5.9.1).
Can you please help me with the workflow to recreate it.
PS:- I only have BuddyPress, BP Classic and MediaPress active while testing this.

BrajeshHi,
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
I was reading your help doc article titled “Disable automatic gallery cover update for MediaPress.” I checked the /wp-content/plugins/mediapress/core/gallery folder but didn’t find the code snippets mentioned, so I figured that was worth checking first.
Here’s what I did from the beginning:
I logged in as a user and went to their profile.
I clicked “Create a Gallery,” gave it a title and description, and clicked “Create.”
I uploaded a PNG image to the gallery.
I went back to “My Gallery,” but there was no cover photo displayed.
Let me know if there’s something I missed or another setting I should check.
Thanks,
KimFound the issue, it was in Moderation settings.
I do have another question. Can Mediapress be set so user can share the picture or a gallery in the message?
Thank you
Hi Kim,
Thank you.
I am glad you found the issue. I am sorry that I did not consider moderation as one of probably causes. Thank you for sharing it.About your other question:- There is no specific integration to message. It could be used as normal image link/url but there is no specific integration.
Regards
Brajesh
