[Resolved] mediapress galleries

    For some reason, I can’t see my mediapress galleries anymore on the front end or backend dashboard. They’re still on my server, but we just can’t see them on the site.

    Hello Mike,

    Thank you for posting. Please let me know are you able to locate MediaPress Gallery media in WordPress Media section.

    The images don’t show up there either. The galleries originally disappeared yesterday, so I deleted a plugin that I installed before that happen, clean the database, cleared the cache, and they popped back up. I didn’t change anything since then and the galleries were gone again this morning.

    Please try after importing latest database backup which was taken before database clean.

    Hi Mike,
    Thank you for the reply.

    From your replies, It seems that the post meta was cleared which is used by MediaPress to keep a details for galleries/media.

    The only way to restore it will be to revert the database(we won’t know which meta was removed).

    Yes, that will cause the removal of new upload. If you can restore/merge the post meta table from the backup, It should resolve the issue.
