My gallery page that worked suddenly can’t be found after a BuddyPress update. I have gone through the settings but find nothing to bring it back.
Here it was as seen in the way back machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20230806191957/https://mgal.org/gallery/
Here it is now: https://mgal.org/gallery/
Could you give me a clue as to where/how I fix this? It worked for years then suddenly poof and I wasn’t even monkeying around with it.
Chelle
Hi Chelle,
I am sorry for the inconvenience. It is due to the BuddyPress 12.0’s change parser.
Please install BP Classic for the time being and enable the legacy parser from settings, that should make it work.
We are hopeful of releasing an update next week for 12.0 compatibility.

https://buddyuser.com/using-mediapress-to-add-media-galleries-to-your-siteDon’t see the repair button as mentioned here:
https://www.buddyboss.com/resources/docs/integrations/mediapress/I see this mentioned an update was coming but has that update already come and this is a different issue?
Hi,
BuddyPress has removed the support for pages as directory in 12.0. If you install and activate BP Classic
https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-classic/You can use the pages as directory component.
We are working on a non page solution. The problem is backward compatibility with older versions of BuddyPress. I am hoping to have a final resolution next week.
Regards
Brajesh
