We are scheduled to launch our website today and the plugin is not working as expected. We have WooMemberships setup, custom user roles, and your plugin. We have it setup for members to automatically be assigned to “basic” membership with “basic” user role at registration. The membership pulls through but the user role remains Woocommerce “customer”.

I tried manually upgrading that account to a “Premium” account but again… it did not inherit the Premium user role even though I have it setup too. It just remained “customer”.

Am I understanding this plugin correctly? This is absolutely CRITICAL that we get it going right away. Please get back to me right away. I’ll send an email with my login details for you as well so you can check for yourself. I’ll copy this message to the email. We can’t launch our site without the memberships and user roles functioning…

    Thanks

    Hi J,
I am marking it as resolved as per the email.

For others, The solution was to create a User Role Updater for WooCommerce Memberships.

    Regards
    Brajesh
