Tagged: mixed galleries, Thumbnail
Hello! I’m new here and I don’t have much knowledge. For my project I am trying to ensure that regardless of the type of gallery I have: photo, audio… I can put different types of content in it. I have already achieved this, I can add an audio and an image, for example, but when you enter the gallery the thumbnail is still the thumbnail of the gallery type. For example: I have created a new document gallery, so all the files there have the image assigned to documents: doc-large.png, for example. My question is, how could I do so that if I have an audio it automatically has an audio thumbnail and if it is an image thumbnail of the image or video thumbnail. If this were not possible, would it be possible to display the files in list format and how would I do it? Thank you very much in advance.
Hi Abel,
Welcome to BuddyDev support forums.MediaPress is not designed to handle multiple type in one gallery. It is bound to cause issue in future,
The only suggestion I have is upload a custom cover for each gallery. That way, you do not need to worry about the default icons.
The cover can be upload from manage gallery pages on the front end.Regards
