[Resolved] Private Replies?

    Hi Brajesh,

    Is it possible for users to post private replies in forums? Similar to what you have here on your site?

    I’m trying to plan how I will run my support section. I was planning to do that in a forum but if you have any alternative ideas… ? 🙂

    Hi Mike,
    Yes, It is possible to post private replies.

    you may use this plugin

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress-private-replies/
    It has not been updated recently but it works.

    In my opinion, forum search is better as others may be able to search for their issues and the support load can be minimized.

    Thank you so much that’s exactly what I need.

    I agree with you that a forum is best for support. I’ve always done it that way. It lets people search for solutions and to help each other. It also shows confidence. I think it is the best indication of reliability when a vendor gives their support in public.

    That’s one of the main reasons I signed up for Buddydev, I was impressed by your public support forums (I still am).
