Recent Visitors For BuddyPress Profile notifictaions issues

    Hi,
    i use Recent Visitors For BuddyPress Profile plugin and i activated Email Notification on new Visit, when i visit a profil user receives an email notification, but if i stay in his profil he receives an email every 5-10secondes, is the same for local notification.

    I can confirm it. Yes, the same is the case with the local notification too.

    What do you think will be the best strategy for sending email/notification? Based on last visited time?

    hi Brajesh,
    The current strategy of sending email/notification on new visit is good, but just one email/notification, at this time users are notified every 5-10 seconds when other users visit their profile. In the end they receive 5-6 emails for just one visit.
    I may be incorrectly set the plugin.

    Hi Ahmed,
    The problem lies in our approach there.

    Whenever you open/load a profile, It will send notification if enabled.

    I am thinking to make it something like may be 1 per day or similar. The normal behaviour is to open multiple pages of profile and each page should not trigger the notification.

    What do you think?
