Recent Visitors For BuddyPress Profile -> To many notifications

    Hi,

    we are facing the following problem with Recent Visitors For BuddyPress Profile Plugin:
    When a user visits a profile in short intervalls (guess 6 times every minute) everytime a notification and an EMail is sent.

    Why that? This makes no sense.

    Hi,
    The plugin does not store time stamp with each visit. I only stores the time stamp with latest visit.

    So, It is unable to differentiate the visits. Please disable the notifications from Dashboard->Settings->Recent Visitors.

    In future, I will explore on providing a duration threshold for the recording/notifications.

    Hi,
    We have added the option to disable notification for duplicate visits now. Please check the plugin settings to enable it.
