    Hi,
Please take a look at this plugin.

    https://buddydev.com/plugins/buddypress-profile-data-control/

It allows you to limit the availability/visibility of the fields by role. you may map the role with membership with any membership plugin.

    Regards

    Hi,
    Thank you for the clarification.
I assume you are trying to apply 2 member types to a user? Even though it is possible to assign two member types, It is a source of trouble(removing, assigning , appending member type(s)) and that’s why you will not find a proper implementation for this.

oh sorry, just notice u suggested to assing it to a role (not type).
so role can do the job..
having two roles can be done properly?

    Hi,
The role may work the problem is the default WordPress interface (UI) does not have the ability for multiple roles(their internal API does support it).

Overall, working with multiple role/member type is not supported by core and depending on your level of experience using 3rd party solutions may or may not suit your needs.

So your advice is to stick with one role per user?

    Hi,
Yes, that is what the current UI supports well.
