I’m trying to add 2 columns with sections in it too the profile tab. According to Docs it should work. When I put the shortcode in, then the layout is skewed.

Thank you for the post.The issue is not related to the Profile Tabs plugin. It seems the issue is related to how the elementor shortcode renders the content.
It may be a small css fix. I will need to check it on the site to assist you.
