    Hi Glenn,
    I am sorry, I had some things going on and could not checkback on Buddydev.

    1. Can you please remove/comment all the code you are using

    2. Please visit Groups-> Any Group -> Manage->Blog Category and see if categories are selected there?
    If not, Please select a few and update.

    That should fix it.
