site owner cannot use BP message

    Hi I met a strange issue and I don’t when it happened (I installed WordPress 3 months ago). As the site owner, I am unable to compose messages on BuddyPress, but other users could do that and I cannot reply to their messages. May I know how to solve this problem? I am using the latest version of WordPress and BuddyPress. Active plugins are:

    bbPress, BP Group Documents, BP Registration Options, Change WordPress Login Logo, LoginPress, Maintenance, Monarch, Really Simple SSL, Remove Dashboard Access, and WP Upload Restriction.

    I was the one who posted the above message. I actually found a simple to fix it by changing the setting to template pack “legacy.” If I continue to use legacy, will I lose any functionality of BuddyPress? Thanks.

    Hi,
    I will suggest looking at the browser console for any error.

    Is there a chance that you might be using any restrictions plugin? Please do not change template pack for the sake of a bug.
