    Is there any way to add tags to media in MediaPress.–What I want to do is to allow members to add tags to their media and then to be able to call up a gallery by tag across all members. Is anything like this possible?

    Hi Xochi,
    Thank you for posting. At the moment it is not available in MediaPress. It is certainly doable in future as MediaPress media are normal WordPress attachments.

    If you are a developer, all you will need to do is create a custom taxonomy and use that for ‘attachment’ post type and create an UI for the same.

    I am sorry but this is not on our priority list at the moment. we will certainly add it at some point in future as an addon.

    Hello Joanne,

    Thank you for posting here. Please take a look at the following plugin:

    https://github.com/mediapress/mpp-gallery-categories/archive/refs/heads/master.zip

    It does allow applying categories on MediaPress Galleries and filtering them based on category.
