use buddypress function in theme function.php

    hi

    buddypress function useing in theme function.php but it is not working

    functions like groups_join_group( $group, $user_id ) and groups_is_user_admin( $user_id ,1)

    please guide how to use it properly

    Thank you for posting. BuddyPress does provide a custom file for tweaking BuddyPress functionality i.e. ‘bp-custom.php’ file.
