[Resolved] When uploading multiple images, Group Activities Notifier notifies for EACH img.

    Hi @BuddyDev,
    we are having a problem with the notifications from the Group Activities Notifier.
    A larger number of pictures are regularly uploaded to our groups. The notifier then notifies once for the upload itself and then again for EVERY single image, so that sometimes umpteen notifications are send, which has already driven some users to despair… Is it possible to turn it off or configure it somehow? Thanks very much.

    Welcome to BuddyDev support forums.

    I am sorry about the issue. The plugin creates a notification when an activity is published. It seems the media upload is creating individual activities for each.

    Can you please tell me which media plugin/solution are you using? I can put couple of line of code to avoid creating notification for that specific activity type.

    We are using BuddyBoss and a couple of more PlugINs which should have no effect on the PlugIn – so yes. BuddyBoss it is.. 🙂

    Thank you.

    I had a look at BuddyBoss platform today. They do not assign new type to media activity.
    That makes our type filter to skip some activity types for notifications useless.

    I am sorry, there is not much I can do in this case.

    Hi Brajesh. Thanks for your support. So then we need to uninstall Group Activities Notifier so we don’t annoy our users. Please get in touch if anything changes in the Group Activities Notifier in this regard. thank you very much.

    yes, that seems to be the logical thing to do. I don’t see any workaround with it for BuddyBoss in near future.
