[Resolved] WordPress has stopped to send mail after activacting mail on Plesk

    Dear friends,

    i know that this topic is out of our focus but some genius could fix this.

    Wordpress has stopped to send mail after activacting mail on Plesk, then I have deactivated mail services on Plesk but WordPress do not send email anymore.

    I have uploaded a backup of the days before the stop and it also do not send emails.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Hi Giuseppe,
    Thank you for the question.

    Probably your MTA(most of the time it is postfix or sendmail) is not configured for relaying. Please contact server support and request them to check the mail log and see if the MTA is relaying mail.

    Hello,

    I have set host (I have my own dedicated server) with an external email to bypass all the mail server issue.

    Yes, That’s a good strategy. Using external server for mail is a good choice.
