“X” Showing up after making post

    The Media Press plugin is conflicting with Buddy Boss such that when it’s active, and you post to your timeline or the activity feed, a box closure “X” remains visible after posting until you refresh. It shows up in different places on the feed and timeline. I contacted Buddy Boss support and it’s the Media Press plugin that’s the culprit.

    Welcome to Buddydev support forums.

    MediaPress is not for BuddyBoss. It is only supported for BuddyPress.

    BuddyBoss has their native media component. I will suggest using their native media component.
