One more thing, if I save new settings, with extended amount and time, the messages send so far, also counts in the overall settings
Shouldn’t the new settings reset the overall message count?

Hi again, it seems like the BP Rate Limit Private Message settings in the dashboard are overruling the code settings, messages are only restricted by these.
I added this restriction for subscribers, but are able to send messages beyond 5.
