Hello
I’ve tested this all morning and the rtMedia works perfectly with showing profile activity and handling the privacy when that is activated in the settings – it’s only when I activate the Anonymous plugin that is dosen’t work.
It works on the main stream, but the activities are not shown under each user profile.
I also saw another one post the same issue in your support stream back in 2018 – so it’s a compatibility issue on your end since rtMedia works fine – and the issue only shows up when the plugin is activated. 🙂
I hope there is a fix for this .. 🙁
The plugin rtMedia and everything with privacy settings works fine – it’s only when I activate the Anonymous plugin that I’m having the issues and it overwrites the privacy settings of the rtMedia plugin.
So we need to look into this since it now forces me to choose between the 2 plugins – and the anonymous is useless for me if this is not fixed. :/
Hello again.
I was looking into it even more and was now missing a feature on the “set privacy” on posts which was set by the rtMedia Privacy settings. This works orignally in the theme (also with the settings turned on) – so back to the compatibility issue. I’ve been testing it again and it’s only when I turn on the Anonymous plugin when the content goes missing. so it’s a compatibility issue with your Anonymous plugin and the privacy settings on rtMedia.
This is not ideal since I need the features.
Can we look into this please? 🙂
Maybe someone else can use if in the future if they’re also using rtMedia (a lot of people are).
Thanks! 🙂
After looking into it further it turns out that the privacy settings of rtMedia was the culprint. It did overrule the privacy settings and now that they’re turned of within the rtMedia plugin it seems to be working! 🙂
Found the culprint. This is an issue with the rtMedia plugin – this has some issues with the Anonymous and when the two of these are together it’s shutting down the profile-pages for (other members).
I just tried setting up a staging site since my main site is private – and on there it works.. lol
This means I’m now on the hunt to troubleshoot where else the cipatibility issue is.I’ll be back on this in a second – since I do believe the anonymous plugin is having issues with third-party too.
Users should be able to see their own content (also if it is “anonymous”.
When visting other members/profiles and their activity they should only see the content that are not marked “anonymous”.Hope it makes sense? 🙂

Managed to solve it by changing some settings within BuddyPress – and now it seems to be working! 🙂

I can confirm that the new updates fixed my “<span>” issue and also now makes the edit-box stick in the top of the screen (when on mobile). Thank you guys!
I’ll let you know if I find anything else, but for now it works perfectly. 🙂
Thank you!
