    More info: my BuddyPress field is a select2 dropdown, where my members select their country from an array of options.

    & on top of the Notice & 4 of my 1000+ Users are displaying Array instead of their country.

    There is nothing special about these Users or the countries they have selected. I’m assuming that the issue is the type of field (select2 dropdown) but I don’t know how to modify my my_wpmeo_pre_user_query function accordingly.

    Any update on this?
    In relation to my initial question – it would be helpful if you added a new link rather than expanded it – as I would like to hide the word ‘Notification’ using css.

    Update: in case anyone else finds this thread because they are looking for the same functionality. The plugin that I mentioned does not currently allow you to easily email User Roles or different groups on your site. The developer does say that this feature is coming, but as of right now it is not available. I’ll update this thread again if it does become possible.

    Hi Ravi & Bruno,

    I’m apprehensive to use plugins that (may) have been abandoned by their developers. I’m going to try out this plugin WP INBOX plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-inbox & if it works for us then upgrade to the paid version https://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-inbox/25958075.

    It doesn’t allow us to email our BuddyPress groups, but it will allow us to contact our members & various User Roles which will be helpful.
