Hello,
I have a specially created “Custom post type” Blog. In which I create articles, but if I write a comment there, it will not be published to the Activities. Do you know what this could be and how it could be modified so that comments are displayed in the Activities?
Practically it’s like a “WordPress post comment” except it’s like a copy of “WordPress Posts”.

Cool, it works perfectly if the user adds something via Activity. Unfortunately, if I add a post, the text is still long.

Hello Keymaster,
If I use ‘bp_activity_excerpt_length’ it will modify the Word Limit everywhere, I would only need it somewhere, i.e. in certain places where I use the shortcode.
