BuddyDev

BuddyBlog is a BuddyPress plugin that allows users to create/manage their blog/posts from their profile. BuddyBlog allows easy front-end blogging with BuddyPress.

Basic Functionality:-

• Creating New Post
• Editing existing Post
• Deleting Posts
• Publishing Post
• Unpublished post(moving to the draft status)

BuddyBlog Version 1.1 or above allows the following:-

• BuddyBlog can work with a normal post or any custom post type
• It can use any registered taxonomy
• Admins can select post type/taxonomy from the BuddyBlog Settings page in the admin
• Admins can control who can publish/what can be published etc, various options from admin.

The current plugin supports the following things:-

Features:-

• Custom taxonomies/Categories association to post types
• Tags association to post
• Upload(can be limited, how many) on the post screen

Limitations:-

• Needs a Simple Front-End post plugin to a create post.
• New categories/tags can not be created from the front-end (A limitation of simple front end post).

Dependency:-

• BuddyPress 2.0+
• BP Simple Front End post plugin version 1.1+
