Hoe do I get the menu’s on the left side of the screen, as in the pictures of the BP Nicey theme here

The Bp nicey was having Vertical menus for BuddyPress 1.1.x series. With 1.2, it is gone. Anyway, I will try to put it back this weekend, as I have got the same working in one of other theme.
