I just saw this plugin and had to sign up again to play with it!

Finally a working privacy plugin for BP. Yay!

Oops, forgot to mention a most important part of step 1 above:
Superadmin could hide main blog from navigation, either making it a private page, exclude pages plugin, hardcoding the template, whatever. That way, the ONLY way users could contribute would be by joining a group.

Sorry for not replying for a while, I got a bit sidetracked by my Dad’s declining health.
Thanks for the above, it worked fine. But I now have issues with updates appearing twice in the activity stream (on both profile and home pages).
Any ideas?

I took a look at your css tweaks on wpknight. I love how you got the profile header sitting pretty on the left, with everything else snug at the top. Could you clue us in on how you accomplished that?
