BuddyPress Activity Privacy – Introduction:-

BuddyPress Activity Privacy helps you provide privacy functionality to your site members. Your users can choose the options like "Private", "Public", "My Friends", "All Members" to limit the visibility and availability of their activity posts(Limit who can see their activity on the BuddyPress site).

When you activate the plugin, you can see a privacy dropdown option in your BuddyPress activity stream post form.

Users can edit the privacy of any previously posted activity too. They just need to select it in the activity stream entry as shown below.

In the above example, If the user sets privacy as " My Friends", other members who are not on their friend's list will not be able to see the activity.

Users can set default activity privacy from their Account->Settings->Activity Privacy.

BuddyPress Activity Privacy works smoothly with both of the BuddyPress template packs. Whether you use  "BuddyPress Legacy" or "BuddyPress Nouveau", It will work for you.

Can I allow users to set their activity privacy?

Yes.

Can I allow users to set privacy in group posts?

No. It only works with user activities.

Is this plugin free or premium? I do not see any pricing?

It is a members-only plugin. It is exclusively available to our members with "BuddyEssentials" or "BuddyPro" membership.
