Hi Brajesh, I have two issues with the visit counter in the visitor tab.

A user has a visit count of 17

    1. when he check some of the visits the visit counter does not update but still displays 17, even after navigating around.

    2. 17 visits, but only 10 visitors. In my opinion the counter should only register the visits from the same user once in every session.

I hope you will look into this, thanks

    Regards
    Carsten

    Hi Carsten
    Thank you for the topic.

The visit count is the number of users who visited that user. It is not how many other users he/she visited.

I think that is the confusion here.

    Regards
    Brajesh

No I perfectly understand how it works, it’s the incoming visits of course

When the user enters the resent visitors list, and enter visitors profiles from there, the counter should count down accordingly, isn’t it how it surpossed to work?

Actually, the counter should reset to zero, when the resent visitor list is entered, even without having to enter visitors profiles individually.

    Hi Carsten,
This is not how it works.

Are you referring to the visit count in the directory/profile(members list page?)

If User X is checking the recent visitor, The count against user Y shows how many times Y visited X.

    Isn’t that happening?

    Regards
    Brajesh

I’m referring to the visitor tab I added to the user profile tabs.

Yes it does, but I expected the counter to reset, after user X has visited user Y

It makes no sense keeping the total amount of visits in the counter, the excitement for the user is to see new visits see the counter go from zero to 5 …

Exactly like the messages, here the counter adjusts after a message has been read

One more thing, if the counter never resets, suddenly the user will have three digits in the counter
