Hi Brajesh,
One final question! (I’m being optimistic!!) We’re looking for a way to selectively email different BuddyPress groups/members from within WordPress. We’d ideally also like to email our members based on similar profile fields. What’s the best way to set this up?
Thanks 😀
Hello Meagan,
Thank you for posting. There is a plugin with the name “Mass Messaging for BuddyPress – by Alkaweb” which is not 100% match with your requirement but allows sending a message for one or more group. Please have a look

RaviHi there,
I used this one:
https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-email-users/It suits me and works well.
Unfortunately some critics say the plugin seems abandoned by its author.
if so, I think it would be worth taking back because its features are very interesting.
like: message to single or multiple users/groups/roles / template capacity with shortcode…Hi Ravi & Bruno,
I’m apprehensive to use plugins that (may) have been abandoned by their developers. I’m going to try out this plugin WP INBOX plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-inbox & if it works for us then upgrade to the paid version https://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-inbox/25958075.
It doesn’t allow us to email our BuddyPress groups, but it will allow us to contact our members & various User Roles which will be helpful.
Thank you for your replies 🙂
Update: in case anyone else finds this thread because they are looking for the same functionality. The plugin that I mentioned does not currently allow you to easily email User Roles or different groups on your site. The developer does say that this feature is coming, but as of right now it is not available. I’ll update this thread again if it does become possible.
