[Resolved] Simple question on BuddyPress Group Types purpose

    Hello Brajesh,

    Me again ;).

    I didn’t understand what exactly the group types were for. As many types of users it seems clear. But for groups…
    Is it a way of grouping groups or is it a kind of taxonomy (category) for groups?
    Do you have a concrete example to help me understand how to use group types?

    Hi Bruno,
    Thank you for the question.

    Group types allow you to classify/organize groups. Consider them equivalent to category/tags for now.

    In future, It is expected to pave way for defining group specific customizations.
