    Hi, I am having a couple of issues with media press. When I go to upload a new cover image nothing happens. Also in the video player, the buttons on the bottom (volume, fullscreen etc.) do not show. All i see is a white background. I would prefer to share the website link privately. Thanks!

    Welcome to BuddyDev support forums.
    Thank you for using the plugin.

    I am sorry for the issue. The issue with video player is known one. We use the Media Element player(it comes with WordPress). That player uses “button” element for various controls. If a theme overrides the styles for buttons, the player’s controls get affected.

    We have seen it and the solution is to help override the controls back based on the theme being used.

    I have an issue where I purchased a template that had media press as a plug-in and I cannot embed links into the timeline in media press within the template

    Hi Jesse,
    Welcome to BuddyDev support forums. Can you please share me the name of the theme? Also, You can simply paste a link in your postbox to embed it. BuddyPress supports embedding links directly, you do not need MediaPress for it.
