Hello
I have been trying to use the plugin to change the name and slug of tabs created by Buddyboss and a 3rd party plugin.
It does not work.
Is this because the plugin is not compatible with BuddyBoss, or should it work? I think I am following all of the steps correctly, I did it multiple times without success.
The plugin will create new tabs and manage who those tabs are visible to with no issues, it just won’t change existing tabs which is why I bought it.
Hi George,
Thank you for using the plugin.
The Profile Tabs Creator is fully compatible with BuddyBoss. Please let me know which tab/sub tab you are trying to edit which is not working?
As far as 3rd party plugins are concerned, It works with most but there may be some incompatibility. Please let me know which 3rd party plugin you are trying to change and we will assist.

BrajeshHi Brajesh
Thanks for the response.
So I was trying to change the “Blog” tab, to rename it and it’s slug to “Articles” but I can’t get it to take effect. It is probably me being a bit silly and making an error in the process.
For the 3rd party tab, it is WB Com Designs – Buddypress Resume Manager.
Thanks for the help.
George
Hello George,
Please let me know if have you tried the following resource.
https://buddydev.com/docs/buddypress-user-profile-tabs-creator-pro/modify-existing-profile-tab/
It guides you on how you can modify the existing profile tab.
Please let me know if it helps or not.

RaviYes, numerous times, that’s why I asked the question.
Hi George,
Which plugin are you using for Blog tab? Please let us know.
Thank you
BrajeshTo be honest I actually completely forgot that it was a plugin!
It is:
Buddypress user BlogMade by BuddyBoss.
I also tried it with WB Coms – Resume Manager plugin which creates a “Resume” tab. I could not get that to work either.
I will try a standard BB tab.
To confirm
I have tested on standard BB tabs and the issue persists.
I can use the plugin to create new tabs and sub tabs and place content in them, and it works perfectly, I just can’t rename and change the slug of any current tab.
I’m a bit lost 🙁
Hi George,
Thank you for the updates. Please allow me to test it one more time and get back to you within next 24 hours.Regards
BrajeshHi George,
Thank you for the patience.I had a look at the plugin today with BuddyBoss 2.0.7.
The plugin allowed me changing the label for existing tabs.
I see that you were trying to change the slug too. BuddyBoss does not support changing slug(other than defining constants for the slug).
I will be testing with the BuddyPress User Blog Plugin too and will be getting back to you.
Regards
Brajesh
