I am trying to move the MediaPress image upload button into the “What’s New” box so when people click on “what’s New” and the box expands, the mediapress image upload button is next to the “post in profile” box… instead of under the entire what’s new box.
I have attempted making and editing a bp child theme (editing post-form.php and similar activity files directly and in child theme) for hours, googling, searching, arggg… I would appreciate some pointing in the right direction a ton! Thanks!
Hi,
Welcome to Buddydev support forums.Thank you for using MediaPress.
Please link me to a screenshot showing how is the button appearing currently and how do you want it to appear(you may use imgbb or similar services for sharing screenshot).
I will have a better idea once I see the screenshots.
Thank you

I hope this helps!
Hi,
Thank you.
What you are trying to achieve should have happened out of the box.Can you please provide me a temporary guest account(normal subscriber user, or if the theme is free, please let me know its name), It seems to be a css conflict(or js issue as we do move the button using js). I can quickly check and assist.
Thank you
BrajeshBrajesh! Thank you so much!
The theme is GeneratePress. I will send you details to login in a PM. (it is free and easy to sign up tho xD)
Thank you.

BrajeshHi,
Thank you for the patience. Can you please visit Dashboard->Settings->BuddyPress->Settings and select the “BuddyPress Legacy” template pack.
Ut should look like thishttps://i.ibb.co/w79PBCK/Selection-029.png
Regards
BrajeshBrajesh, I appreciate the help. This legacy pack did not resolve the issue.
I duplicated the entire website to a subdomain and went through the plugins. I apologize I did not do this at first, I did not realize there was a plugin causing the issue, I thought it was just a layout issue, which.. yeah.. lol
This is the plugin causing the issue: stax-buddy-builder
I will post on their support page.
Happy New Year!
Thanks!
