Hi, on the plugin under Auto activate on Registration I picked Yes because I don’t want people to get an email to active they account. I set redirect page //domainname.net/members/[user.nicename] so they go to their profile page.
I went to Buddypress setting Pages and under Associate WordPress Pages with… set the Register and Register Page and save.
I used a different browser to do a sign up but it still making them get an email to activate their accounts. Why is this happening.
Thank you
KimHello Kim,
Sorry for the inconvenience. This issue has arisen with the latest BP 14 version, so we have added BP 14 compatibility to the plugin. Please upgrade your plugin to the latest version, 2.1.2, and give it a try.

I’m still getting “You have successfully created your account! To begin using this site you will need to activate your account via the email we have just sent to your address.” after the update.
Am I still suppose to be using the default buddypress registration?
Thank you
KimHi Kim,
Thank you for the reply.
You don’t need to use the default BuddyPress registration form. Do you have any other plugin active that might affect registration/Login or security? Can you please link us to your site? We would like to check if there is something else that is ausing the issue.

BrajeshThank you Kim.
I will check and update you today.Regards
BrajeshHi Kim,
Thank you for your patience.
I have checked your site and it seems the ajax registration is not being used(integrated with your theme).I have a solution for this but before that I will need your opinion:-
1. Do you want to keep your current registration form and use the ability to auto activate/auto login the user?
2. Or do you want to use the registration in a popup/modal box ?
Please let me know and I will assist.
Regards
Brajesh
