Show toggled list of notifications in header like at the WP toolbar

    Hello,
    I dont want to use the WP toolbar which shows the notifcations. Instead show it on my header.
    With “bp_notifications_get_unread_notification_count( int $user_id )” I can show the number of notification. But how can I show the notifications when I hover over the number? Like it is at the WP toolbar (see image).

    I saw that you have two notify plugins, unfortunately one of them cannot toogle the notifications, the other one is for the toolbar.

    I dont want code from you just some hint how I might solve this. Until now I was using a bell notification plugin but this is not more maintained.

    Hi Alex,
    Thank you for the post.
    Our plugins are not aimed at this use case.

    I will suggest taking a look at the bell notification plugin or one of our plugins on how it creates the list of notifications.
