[Resolved] Activity Comment Notifications disappear after clicking

    I installed BuddyPress Activity Comment Notifier plugin and when a user comments on my activity update I get a notification in the dropdown at top of site and also in the Notifications tab list at /members/username/notifications/. However, once I click on the notification it is gone from the Notifications tab list and also not listed at /members/username/notifications/read/. Shouldn’t it still be in the Read list at least?

    Hi Jamie,
    Thank you for posting. You are right about that. At the moment, It is deleting the notification. Please give me 30-45 minutes and I will update the plugin to fix it.

    Hi Jamie,
    I have just pushed an update to WordPress.org repo of this plugin. Version 1.12. does following:-

    1. Fixes a bug where unmarking favorite was not deleting notification
    2. Marks notifications as read instead of deleting them when viewed by the user
    3. Adds a filter to skip some activity types from notifications if required.

    Please give it a try and let me know if it works for you or not?

    I updated and it still deletes the notifications when I click on them to view.

    Someone replies to my update post. I get a notification and click on it. It is no longer listed in the notifications or read notifications.

    Hi Jamie,
    Can you please delete the plugin and reinstall it.

    I have made sure that the notifications are only deleted when activity or comment is deleted or marked unfavorite.

    I have tested it WordPress 4.4 + BuddyPress 2.4.3 (non multisite). If that does not fixes it, Please do let me know if you are using other plugin related to notification(like live notification etc)

    I deactivated, deleted and reinstalled the plugin. It seems to be working now. Thanks.
