Activity Plus Reloaded – two "submit" buttons in a single post

    In Activity Plus Reloaded, it seems there are sometimes two “submit” button options. Is this expected?

    I see it when the status update includes both text and media/link but only when the media/link is added first and the text second. So there will be a “Post update” button plus a “Submit link post” (for example). When this happens, selecting the media/link “submit” button will post all but selecting the “Post update” button will only post the text.

    If the text is entered first and the media second, I don’t see this issue.

    Hi Rick,
    I am sorry for the inconvenience.

    We do not have a way to predicatively solve it. Most of the BuddyPress theme implement js where their submit button becomes visible if you focus the post box.
    I do not see a simple solution(out of the box) for this currently.

    I will be exploring a bit more and will get back to you if we can do it as a generalized solution.

    If you’re able to add the option to hide upload options (as discussed in the thread below) that would actually solve the issue for me. It would mean I’d have to rely on rtMedia for media in the Activity feed but at least it would be a bit more straightforward for the user.
